Quíen soy yo?

Hello all!

I am Jacqueline! I hail from the Pacific Northwest, USA. Born and bred around rivers and mountains, I am happiest when I’m not in the city. I’m an alumna of Seattle University, and current candidate for a MGA at University of Notre Dame. I am a (pickled) food enthusiast, like to dabble in music, and ask a lot of questions–because curiosity!

This blog was started originally when I was a Jesuit Volunteer in Andahuaylillas, Peru for two years. Now, I’m making a comeback because writing is a helpful tool in times when I’m just trying to make sense of things…or at least put some thoughts into words. Unless stated otherwise, the content here does not represent any of the organizations I’m associated with and is original.

“We have all known the long loneliness and we have learned that the only solution is love and that love comes with community.” -Dorothy Day

“Washing one’s hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless means to side with the powerful, not to be neutral. ” – Paulo Freire

“Maybe that’s enlightenment enough: to know that there is no final resting place of the mind; no moment of smug clarity. Perhaps wisdom…is realizing how small I am, and unwise, and how far I have yet to go.” -Anthony Bourdain

Have a thought?? Tell me!
